
Overview
Nathan Nicholas has a strong background in corporate law, having served as corporate and litigation counsel to numerous companies internationally and across many industries. In these roles, he has handled and advised on multi-national litigation, venture financing, corporate governance, and intellectual property matters for companies in the United States, Australia, and China. He has also managed multiple joint ventures in China, gaining deep insight into international business operations and regulatory challenges.
Mr. Nicholas represents individuals, businesses, and organizations in complex litigation and trial matters. His practice includes commercial disputes, business torts, contract litigation, personal injury, fraud, and intellectual property disputes. He has represented clients in state and federal courts, managing high-stakes litigation and trial advocacy.
Mr. Nicholas has also led lobbying efforts and managed government relations for companies across multiple industries, advising on regulatory compliance, policy development, and legislative advocacy. His experience navigating complex regulatory and legislative environments enables him to effectively represent clients in matters involving government agencies and policymakers.
A Laramie native and fourth-generation Wyoming attorney, Mr. Nicholas holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, an MBA, and a J.D. from the University of Wyoming. He has lived, studied, and worked in China and speaks conversational Mandarin.
Outside of work, Mr. Nicholas enjoys Wyoming’s great outdoors, spending his time skiing, biking, and exploring with his two young children.

Sherman et. al. v. Trinity Teen Solutions, LLC, et. al.: Class counsel for a class of 250+ female clients that were sent to a "teen treatment center" where they were exploited for labor instead of being provided critical counseling and educational services. Claims involved violations of the Transporting Victims Protection Reauthorization Act ("TVPRA"), 18 U.S.C. 1595 .

Scavuzzo v. Triangle Cross Ranch, LLC: Represented young men who were sent to the Defendant's ranch under the impression they would receive critical counseling and educational services to help them adjust as young adults. Instead, the young men allege they were exploited for labor and provided very little, if any, counseling or educational services. Claims involved violations of the Transporting Victims Protection Reauthorization Act ("TVPRA"), 18 U.S.C. 1595 .

Schmeisser GmBH v. AC-Unity, d.o.o.: Defended patent infringement claims made by Plaintiff, resulting in the invalidation of Plaintiff's patent.

Represented a multinational oil and gas technology company to defend and prevent a hostile takeover of the company from inside investors. This resulted in three trials, each of which were two weeks longs and rendering favorable jury verdicts in all three trials.
