Overview

Kelly Shaw is a civil litigation attorney with Koch Law, P.C. Renowned for her sharp analytical mind and exceptional writing skills, she is a formidable advocate in the courtroom and a trusted advisor to her clients.


Kelly has successfully represented clients in a variety of difficult cases, from administrative hearings all the way up to the Supreme Courts of Colorado and Wyoming. Her tenacity and ability to craft clear, compelling arguments has earned her accolades from clients and judges alike.


After graduating near the top of her class from the University of Colorado Law School, Kelly moved to Wyoming and began her career at the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office. As a young attorney, she received the Wyoming Attorney General’s exemplary legal writing award for writing the winning brief in an appeal to the Wyoming Supreme Court. Kelly shares her considerable skills with aspiring young lawyers by teaching a legal writing course at the University of Wyoming College of Law.


Always eager to grow her skills and empower her clients, Kelly has completed intensive training courses in trial advocacy and litigation skills from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and the National Attorneys General Training & Research Institute.
